Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. In 1993 she was a graduate of DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. Anders received her bachelor of fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she earned an M.A. in Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders was in a relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey), her ex-costar of the show that was cancelled. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her brother. The year 2001 was the time Anders started her professional career in the theatre. Anders was the understudy of Mary Louise Parker for the Broadway production Proof. Anders also played Elaine Robinson later in The Graduate. On the Jump was her debut appearance on The Arena Stage. New Doors was held in the Guthrie Theater. There were two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender & New World Rhapsody were also created by New York Stage & Film. Anders began her acting career in May 2007 in the Geffen Playhouse production of Fat Pig. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007, with Anders playing the accountant Jeannie. Anders had her first TV appearance on a Dannon commercial, which ran from the years 1990 and 2006. Anders was most well-known for her appearances as a character in Joey and The Class, where she appeared as Nicole Allen Campbell (the ex-wife of a soccer athlete) (and as the lawyer Alex Garrett). Both times she appeared in all of the episodes, however the shows were cancelled. Anders was also a guest on parts in One Life to Live and Law & Order. She has made appearances as characters in The Guiding Light. Anders was featured in five episodes on the HBO drama series Oz as Donna Degenhart in 2003, as well as a brief appearance in the movie The Stepford Wives, playing Heather as Heather as well as the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders appeared on Numb3rs the show, which ran on television in the year 2008. Anders has appeared in two television pilots that were unsuccessful. Spellbound and News To Me were the two pilots that failed on television. Anders appeared as a character in Better Off Ted for ABC the comedy-drama featuring just one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
